Early flowering daffodils belong to the reliable year-by-year highlight of every garden. ´Ice Follies´ is a large-cupped variety with white tepals and a creamy yellow corona which turns ivory white as the bloom matures. It does not mind severe spring weather conditions. It is a medium-short growing flower ideal for low borders, and perfect for pots on patios and balconies. It blooms for 2-4 weeks starting March.
Plant daffodils in September-November so they can make good roots before frosts. Leave them in the ground for many years. If needed, you can lift the bulbs in July after the leaves wither and divide the cluster into smaller segments which can be immediately planted. When cutting the flowers always clean the knife before you use it on another variety. Distance between individual bulbs: 10 cm; planting depth: 10 cm; always tips upwards. Fully hardy.
