DESCRIPTION Lilies are not just beautiful cut flowers. In perennial beds same as carefully planted among shrubs or trees they will dazzle with bright colours, shapes, and sizes of their blooms. And be sure we select the grandest of the great ones only!
“Aphrodite” is a very unusual and plays with colour as well as your senses. It main colour is pale pink but shows shades of beige, cream or even yellow towards the centre of the flower. Flowers are double and appear on 70 cm long stalks in June. It belongs to Asiatic species. Pollen-free.
Lilies are easy, maintenance-free tuberous perennials that do best when left grown without taking out. They need fertile, slightly acidic soil, always moist, even in winter. Plant the bulbs at a depth of 2-3 times their height. Check for pests after the leaves have emerged. Fully hardy.
