DESCRIPTION
We are proud to present a novelty bred in the Czech Republic in 1994, and patented in 2005 under US plant patent PP17084. It is a dwarf Japanese barberry. It has bright golden yellow leaves that are resistant to sunburn and keep their fresh, vivid colour throughout the season. The leaves are deciduous, ovate to round and may have pink or red margins in summer. It grows slowly, forming a dense and compact shrub twice as wide as tall. It likes almost any soil type and does best in full sun or partial shade. Fully hardy to min. -29°C (USDA zone 5).
