DESCRIPTION
We are proud to present a novelty bred in the Czech Republic in 1995, and patented in 2005 under US plant patent PP16,921. This barberry has uniquely coloured leaves – they are orangey-red or red in full sun with a fine greenish-yellow margin which is also the colour of bottom leaves. It grows slowly, forming a dense and compact shrub about 40 cm tall and wide. It likes almost any soil type and does best in full sun or partial shade. Fully hardy to min. -29°C (USDA zone 5).
