This garden is a typical example of a medium-sized landscape job we do for our customers. Not small, not large, just average. The customers have a newly built house near the woods and want to enjoy a flowering garden that will still have enough space for their little daughter.

Lanscaping "a garden" at this house was quite unusual and the word garden deserves to be in quotation marks. The area for beds and borders was extremely limited. Nevertheless, the owner of the house and his wife did not want to settle for something just nice (or at least nicer than the current state) but something truly amazing. This is how it happens - you have a large plot around your house and it is vastly covered with lawn. Even the most beutiful turf gets boring after some time so you decide to create something. And if you don't feel like DIY we are here to get on with it. These customers are our favourite - we have done quite a lot of work there already and we are pleased to be the ones they call evertime they got an idea. This time I was called to come and have a look at something they did without us ... Pity my camera refused to work the day I arrived and could not make a picture of the raw state. They got an excavator, a crane and a truck with giant stones to make something like a stony lake in the middle of mountains. I had to admit it looked fantastic. And even more fantastic was that the creator of this beauty shared my idea that planting was to be a merge of 2 styles: mountainous and Japanese. Let's see if we did it right....more

The owner of this garden is a great garden ethusiast. As soon as the house was finished she decided to do something about the garden. She bought some plants from us and planted them. After some time she felt it was not exactly what she hoped for and contacted us for an advise. When I got to know her taste it was easy to finish the landscape. The lady of the house (garden) understood my plan immediately and agreed to it. So we used specimen plants to rise up the horizons and give the landscape new levels. The most usual wish of our customers is to landscape a garden that after two weeks of work looks like 15-20 years old. This is possible using mature trees and shrubs along with "instant lawn" = turf. We like doing this because in such cases the pictures BEFORE and AFTER look most amazing....more

When we first visited the garden it already had some planting, mostly near the fence. The plants were live and reasonably healthy but seriously nothing to shout about. That was why the owners asked us to help and make it a more attractive place. Gradually it finished up in a long-term relationship with several phases of garden reconstruction.
