Achillea 'DESERT EVE™ Light Yellow' yarrow

DESERT EVE™ is a new series of yarrow with shorter stems, compact habit, and long-lasting flowers. DESERT EVE™ Light Yellow is a neat and lovely addition to this range. It bears large heads of light vanilla yellow flowers on short stems that seldom exceed 30 cm which makes this yarrow an excellent plant for a rockery.

Fern-like leaves are finely cut and rich grass green, basal leaves are larger than stem leaves. Once the main flowering has finished you can cut off the stems to encourage new growths but it is not necessary.

Yarrow is a maintenance-free perennial suitable for standard flower beds as well as dry locations and rockeries. It tolerates wide range of soils except for boggy and wet. Full sun is best. Fully hardy to -40°C (USDA zone 3).
