Natural plant protection product for organic and ecological growing
Agro NATURA® ROCK EFFECT is a natural spray based on oil from the seeds of the Indian tree Pongamia pinnata (karanja oil). It protects plants against aphids, whiteflies, spider mites, thrips, scale insects (including mealybugs and armored scales), and at the same time acts against powdery mildew (including American gooseberry mildew). Because it works by contact, the spray must be applied thoroughly, including the undersides of leaves. It is safe for beneficial organisms and suitable for organic gardening.

What it can do: Eliminates sucking pests and suppresses powdery mildew, strengthens plant resistance, and also acts against overwintering pest stages.

What it cannot do: It does not act systemically – it only works where it directly contacts the pest or plant surface. It does not prevent new infestations, so repeated applications are necessary.

What to use instead: In cases of heavy infestation, other natural products (such as Neudosan®) or selective chemical fungicides/insecticides may be used if longer residual activity is required.
The active ingredient is cold‑pressed oil from Pongamia pinnata (karanja oil), which contains natural compounds with insecticidal and fungicidal properties. It acts by contact and as an antifeedant – disrupting the cuticle and respiratory system of pests, leading to their death. At the same time, it inhibits spore germination of powdery mildew and slows down mycelial growth. The product has no pre‑harvest interval, degrades quickly, and does not pose a risk of resistance development. It is registered for use in organic farming.

Application: applied as a spray at a concentration of 1–3% (10–30 ml per 1 l of water), depending on the plant species and infestation level. Lower concentrations are recommended for young plants, higher for older or heavily infested ones. Apply at the first signs of pests or preventively against powdery mildew, repeat as needed.

- DE LUXE QUALITY - This label guarantees a luxurious quality of manually selected plants that, compared to their height and age, are exceptionally dense and beautiful.
- EXTRA - These plants are usually mature and bigger specimens with exceptional overall appearance.
- STANDARD (as described in the plant form) means a tree with a trunk of 190-210 cm and a crown at the top, unless specified differently. The commercial size for trees is their girth measured in the height of 1m from ground.
- HOBBY - These plants are of the same quality as our standard-quality plants but younger and therefore cheaper.
- SHRUB - a woody plant with branches growing bushy from the ground level.
- HALF-STANDARD or MINI-STANDARD - a small tree with shorter trunk, its size is usually specified.
- FEATHERED - These are trees with branches growing already from the base of the trunk and up along the stem.
- GRASSES and PERENNIALS - Sizes given usually read the diameter of the pot or the clump, as specified.
