Juniperus sabina 'TAMARISCIFOLIA' tamarix juniper


Junipers are popular, evergreen conifers that are 100% maintenance-free plants that will grow almost anywhere. There are plentiful of varieties, each of which is suitable for a slightly different use.
Tamariscifolia is an elegant variety with deep green leaves and horizontal layers of branches. If grown as shrubs, they are perfect ground-covers. They can be trained into a small tree which will reveal its reddish-brown, pealing bark.
Grow juniper in any soil, including chalky, that is not boggy. It will tolerate drought. Fully hardy to -40°C (USDA zone 3).
