Moniliová spála STOP 2x7,5g fungicide
Moniliová spála STOP is an effective fungicide in granule form, designed to protect apricots and sour cherries against blossom blight (Monilinia). Thanks to the combination of two modern active ingredients, it works not only preventively but also curatively – even after the infection has started. It protects trees from dangerous browning of blossoms and shoots, which could otherwise weaken them or cause crop loss. The product can also be used against grey mould (Botrytis cinerea) on strawberries at the beginning of ripening.

What it can do: Protects apricots and sour cherries against blossom blight, acts both preventively and curatively, reduces the risk of resistance thanks to two active ingredients, and can also be used against grey mould on strawberries.

What it cannot do: It cannot stop infection if applied too late (after massive disease development). It does not act against all fungal diseases of fruit trees.

What to use instead: Alternatives include other fungicides against blossom blight (e.g. Horizon 250 EW, Signum), or biological products based on antagonistic fungi, though these usually have weaker effects.
Moniliová spála STOP contains two systemic active ingredients that move within the plant and act both preventively (inhibiting spore germination) and curatively (stopping mycelial growth after infection). By combining two different modes of action, the risk of resistance development is minimized. The product is especially effective against Monilinia laxa, the causal agent of blossom blight in stone fruits, and also shows efficacy against Botrytis cinerea (grey mould). The pre‑harvest interval is 7 days.

Application: spray until runoff at the beginning of flowering; if the weather is cold and rainy (below 13 °C), repeat at the end of flowering.

Dosage: the 2×7.5 g pack is sufficient to prepare 20 l of spray solution, enough for approx. 7 medium‑sized trees (about 3 l per tree).

- STANDARD (as described in the plant form) means a tree with a trunk of 190-210 cm and a crown at the top, unless specified differently. The commercial size for trees is their girth measured in the height of 1m from ground.
- HOBBY - These plants are of the same quality as our standard-quality plants but younger and therefore cheaper.
- SHRUB - a woody plant with branches growing bushy from the ground level.
- HALF-STANDARD or MINI-STANDARD - a small tree with shorter trunk, its size is usually specified.
- FEATHERED - These are trees with branches growing already from the base of the trunk and up along the stem.
- GRASSES and PERENNIALS - Sizes given usually read the diameter of the pot or the clump, as specified.
