Description of the plant:
This tiny little shrub is a dwarf pieris. It is a gorgeous mound-forming plant that grows very slowly and requires nearly no care. The one in our garden has been there for quite a few years now and is only watered by rain, receives no fertilizing at all, and is doing just great.
Growing conditions and care
It has short, narrow, pointed leaves of mid to dark green colour. Young shoots are light green with salmon pink shades. It does not flower. Thanks to its slow and compact growth it is ideal for rockeries and small gardens, as well as for borders of larger arrangements. It needs semi-fertile, moist but well drained, acidic soil. Fully hardy to min. -27°C (USDA zone 5b).
