Description of the plant:
FLIRT 2011® is a dwarf, miniature rose with small pink flowers that truly flirt with you: today they are neon-bright and bold, and tomorrow, as if blushing, they reveal just pastel pink tones. The flowers are about 4-5 cm wide, semi-double, and playfully tousled when fully opened. They bloom profusely in large clusters and tirelessly repeat flowering until the autumn. They are not fragrant. This rose is part of the Lilliputs® series, featuring resilient miniature roses suitable for slightly neglected areas where roses do not get so much attention as one would expect to give to hybrid tea roses and similar. It is highly disease-resistant and can also be grown in partial shade. Originating in 2011, it was bred by Tim Hermann Kordes in Germany. It was awarded ADR, Gold Medal and boasts a prestigious award for the Most Beautiful Rose in Buenos Aires (2010). Hardy to about -29 °C (USDA zone 5) and suitable for outdoor planters.

Planting instructions: Prepare a hole of size 30x30 cm. Put your rose in the way that the grafting point is 3 cm deep in the soil. Water well and cover new shoots with soil or bark mulch about 15 cm high. Roses tolerate wide range of soils but thrive in deep, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil, in full sun.

Pruning: Cut the branches in half in autumn and prune hard to 3-5 live buds in spring after danger of frosts. During the flowering season prune flowered stems regularly and follow a regular feeding programme.
