Sanium Stick insecticide and fertilizer sticks
Sanium Stick are 2‑in‑1 insecticide fertilizer sticks for indoor ornamental plants. They protect against sucking pests such as aphids and whiteflies, while at the same time supplying essential nutrients for healthy growth, lush green leaves, and richer flowering. The sticks are simply pushed into the soil, where they gradually release their active substance and nutrients. Protection lasts for up to 9 weeks.
-
What it can do: Controls resistant sucking pests (aphids, whiteflies, plant lice), works systemically through the roots, protects even new shoots, and lasts up to 9 weeks. At the same time, it acts as a fertilizer (nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, iron, sulfur) and contains natural stimulants (seaweed, humic substances, sugar beet extract).
-
What it cannot do: Does not work against chewing pests (e.g. caterpillars, beetles). The effect is not immediate – first results appear after about 7 days for aphids and 14 days for whiteflies.
-
What to use instead: Alternatives include other systemic products (e.g. Sanium System, Careo), or biological methods (oil sprays, beneficial insects in greenhouses).
Sanium Stick contains flupyradifurone (18.8 g/kg; 1.88% w/w), a modern active ingredient from the butenolide group. It is absorbed by the roots and distributed throughout the plant, acting on the nervous system of sucking pests. Thanks to its systemic action, it also protects new growth. The effect lasts up to 9 weeks. In addition, the sticks contain a nutrient complex: nitrogen (7.4%), phosphorus (3.55%), potassium (5.7%), magnesium (1.4%), iron (0.33%), sulfur (3.15%), plus natural extracts that improve plant vitality.
-
Application: at the first signs of pests, insert the required number of sticks into the soil between the plant and the edge of the pot, then water thoroughly. The sticks must be fully inserted.
-
Dosage: approx. 1 stick per 0.5 l of soil (e.g. a 12 cm pot = 2 sticks).
