Trichoderma Kestom Soil biostimulant with antifungal activity

Trichoderma Kestom is a natural soil biopreparation that revitalizes the soil and protects plant roots against rots and wilts. It contains the beneficial fungus Trichoderma atroviride (strain KE100M), which naturally suppresses harmful fungi in the soil, stimulates root growth, and improves overall plant vitality. As a result, crops grow stronger, healthier, and more resilient.

• What it can do:

  • Suppresses soil‑borne pathogens such as Sclerotinia, Verticillium, Sclerotium cepivorum, Thielaviopsis

  • Has a proven suppressive effect against Fusarium spp. (root and crown rots, wilts)

  • Improves seed germination, root development, and plant growth

  • Increases tolerance to abiotic stress and helps plants overwinter better

  • Decomposes crop residues and enhances soil fertility

  • Approved for use in organic farming (EU 2018/848)

• What it cannot do: It does not directly control insect pests or foliar diseases. Its effect is biological and slower compared to chemical fungicides.

• What to use instead: Other Trichoderma-based products (Trichoplant, Trichocin, MikoHelp) or microbial biopreparations such as Bacillus subtilis (Fytosporin) or Pythium oligandrum (Polyversum).
