TRICHODERMA - Rizocore Soil Biostimulant for Healthy Roots and Plant Vitality

categorized

Trichoderma is a beneficial soil fungus that naturally occurs in forests, compost and the soil surrounding healthy plants. In nature, it helps maintain healthy root systems by limiting the spread of harmful fungi. In gardens, however, plants are often weakened by planting, transplanting, waterlogging, prolonged drought or sudden changes in weather. Under such conditions, the natural biological balance of the soil may be disrupted, placing additional stress on plant roots.

Rizocore contains selected beneficial soil microorganisms that colonise the root zone after application and help establish an active rhizosphere. They improve the utilisation of water and nutrients, support root development and contribute to better plant recovery after planting, transplanting and other stress situations.

Below you will find a table of plants that are particularly susceptible to certain soil-borne pathogens or root-related stress factors, and situations in which problems are most likely to occur. If a plant is already showing signs of damage, always consult reliable horticultural references or a plant health specialist before application. Rizocore can be used alongside mycorrhizal fungi and Trichoderma-based products. Each of these beneficial microorganisms supports plants in a different way, and together they help create a healthier environment for root growth and long-term vitality.

product description:
Application
1. Remove any mulch and the uppermost layer of soil above the roots.
2. Evenly distribute the granules over the plant’s root zone.
3. Lightly incorporate them into the top layer of soil.
4. Water thoroughly to activate the beneficial microorganisms.
5. Cover with a 2-3 cm layer of substrate and replace the mulch.
6. Keep the soil surface consistently moist for at least 3 weeks.
7. Do not use fungicides after application, as they may reduce the viability of the beneficial microorganisms.
8. In heavy, degraded or biologically poor soils, a repeat application after 6-8 weeks is recommended.

The species listed below may be particularly sensitive to certain soil-borne pathogens or stress conditions affecting the root system. Rizocore is not intended to directly suppress these pathogens but helps create an active environment around the roots and supports plant recovery during periods of increased stress.
