Pine trees are superb trees which grow in a wide climate scale - from cold northern countries to hot coastal sites. They are probably most beautiful in their natural environment.
Austrian pine “Pyramidalis” is an excellent choice if you like compact growing conifers. It has a conical growth without a need for trimming. Needles are dark green, long, growing upright. A mature tree can grow to 12m, however, it does not hurry as its parent Austrian pine. As every pine, it needs full sun and well-drained, slightly acidic soil.
