Gaura lindheimeri 'Gaudwwhi' GEYSER gaura

Gaura
Gaura is a typical example of a plant that deserves its price should it come in any pot size. It is a perennial with extra long bloom season and requiring little or no care. GEYSER is a Dutch series bred by Henricus Stemkens between 1998 and 2000, comprising of three compact varieties with different flower colours: white, soft pink, and dark pink.In the wild gaura lives in naturally moist lands where it thrives. Grow it in equally moist but well drained soil in full sun. Once established it tolerates summer drought. The richer soil the more flowers you get so if unsure about your soil quality fertilize it with any common fertilizer for flowering plants when in bloom. Just avoid heavy, clay-based soils. Hardy to about -27 °C (USDA zone 5b) but mulching is recommended for areas with long lasting frost without snow.
