Pine trees are superb trees which grow in a wide climate scale - from cold northern countries to hot coastal sites. They are probably most beautiful in their natural environment.
Description of the plant
“Hesse” is an excellent selection of dwarf mountain pines. It is a compact, mound-forming shrub with 7-8 cm long dark green needles which are slightly sinuate. That gives it a unique, uncombed appearance. It is soil tolerant and once established it lives happily even in drier conditions. As all other pines it needs full sun and well-drained soil. Fully hardy.
