SUNNY SKY^® is a hybrid tea rose from the Eleganza^® series by Kordes Rosen from Germany. It makes large, about 10 cm wide, fully double flowers of pale yellow to golden-yellow towards the centres. They open from early June and appear repeatedly in several flushes throughout the season. Fragrance is medium strong to strong and is composed of several fruit types and honey. The plant makes bushy, upright shrubs slightly over one meter tall and boasts healthy, deep green, and glossy foliage. Awarded ADR in 2015. It was bred by Tim Hermann Kordes in 1999 and US patent No. PP22352 was granted in 2010.

Planting instructions: Prepare a hole of size 30x30 cm. Put your rose in the way that the grafting point is 3 cm deep in the soil. Water well and cover new shoots with soil or bark mulch about 15 cm high. Roses tolerate wide range of soils but thrive in deep, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil, in full sun.

Pruning: Cut the branches by about a half in autumn and prune hard to 3-5 live buds in spring after all frosts. Spent flowers are best removed as they begin to fade. Cut off spent flowering clusters just above the leaf with 5 leaflets or deeper if rejuvenating is desired during vegetation and follow a regular feeding programme. SUNNY SKY^® is hardy enough to thrive in a planter, too.
