Big Top^® is a yellow-flesh nectarine with regular, rounded, mid-sized fruit with deep red skin. It has excellent, sweet, taste. It is not easily detached from stone. Flowering is not abundant but very productive. It flowers from end March until early April. Fruit ripens usually in August, weather conditions pending, about a week before Redhaven.

It needs moist but well-drained, humus rich soil and full sun. It can be pruned in mid August – cut long branches by their halves and remove weak ones. Fully hardy to -27°C (USDA zone 5).

DE LUXE QUALITY - This label guarantees a luxurious quality of manually selected plants that, compared to their height and age, are exceptionally dense and beautiful.
EXTRA - These plants are usually mature and bigger specimens with exceptional overall appearance.
STANDARD (as described in the plant form) means a tree with a trunk of 190-210 cm and a crown at the top, unless specified differently. The commercial size for trees is their girth measured in the height of 1m from ground.
