It wasn't until the beginning of 2011 that the customer came to see us again, saying that he had finished his last garden construction and that he found his garden sad and bland. Again I went to take a look and gave him the benefit of the doubt. The planting had been done more or less with the most common, cheap plants, which often had not even been planted properly and were slowly dying, let alone making up for the rather substantial investment put into the build. The owner therefore decided to take decisive action and agreed to completely revitalise and replenish first the slope by the tavern, which was to be open all summer, so that the view from its windows could be enjoyed. We got to work.
Revamping a large garden near České Budějovicespring-autumn 2011
This garden took its time. Back in 2007, the owner approached us and said that he would like to plant some natural looking trees on the land next to his newly built house. I went to take a look. The area was beautiful - large, with terrain breaks and right next to a forest that formed a beautiful backdrop to the entire garden. I gave a few tips and we agreed that once the interiors were finished and the customer had more energy to start planning the next job = garden, he would get in touch. As he said, so he did. He came that fall to pick some plants and was delighted with them. However, he was thwarted by the forest animals, who continued to roam his property as if it were nothing, because the forest animals are completely oblivious to the changes in the cadastral maps, and until the fence cuts them off, they will continue to feed in the places they normally go. So they had to wait for the fence to be built. As it happens, everything came together in a different way and the landscaping company ended up doing the garden.
