Description of the plant:
Hard fern is an evergreen fern with deep green, glossy leaves. The fronds are 30-50 cm long, erect. It dislikes direct sun and does best in partial shade or even deep shade. It needs moist, light and acidic soil. In shade it withstands drought. Fully hardy to -29°C (USDA zone 5).
