Echinacea MOOODZ® GLORY 'Hilmooglor' coneflower
Echinacea
Coneflower series MMOOODZ® comprises of compact plants showing bushy, freely branching habit. They are much easier to propagate, and produce flowers instantly on very young plants. They are bred by Hilverda Kooij in the Netherlands.
MOOODZ® GLORY is a white flowering member of the MOOODZ® coneflower series. It makes large flowers with wide ray florets around a large golden yellow cone hiding sweet nectar for butterflies, bees, and bumble bees. Stems are strong and erect, reaching up 40-50 cm tall, and producing flowers from July until September. Lanceolate leaves are very dark green and grow from the ground and then up along the stems.
Coneflowers are maintenance-free perennials blooming from early or mid summer until early fall. They come out on sturdy stems that do not break in wind or heavy rain. Flowers attract butterflies and bumble bees. Deadheading of spent flowers and occasional feeding will improve their performance.
