Coneflower series MOOODZ® comprises of compact plants showing bushy, freely branching habit. They are much easier to propagate, and produce flowers instantly on very young plants. They are bred by Hilverda Kooij in the Netherlands.
MOOODZ® SATISFY is a unique coneflower variety from the MOOODZ® series. It produces very large, 10 cm across flowers with a gigantic cone which looks like almost half an apple. It is strongly and sweetly fragrant. Ray florets are a pretty mixture of salmon pink and tangerine orange. Stems are well-branched, thick and strong, only up to 50 cm tall, and hold flowers from July until early September. Lanceolate leaves are very dark green and grow from the ground and then up along the stems.
Coneflowers are maintenance-free perennials blooming from early or mid summer until early fall. They come out on sturdy stems that do not break in wind or heavy rain. Flowers attract butterflies and bumble bees.
