coneflower series MOOODZ® comprises of compact plants showing bushy, freely branching habit. They are much easier to propagate, and produce flowers instantly on very young plants. They are bred by Hilverda Kooij in the Netherlands.
MOOODZ® SYMPATHY is another introduction from the MOOODZ® coneflower series. It produces 8-9 cm large, very fragrant flowers with ray florets that open to a beautiful soft salmon pink with orange or even golden tones, and mature to rich pastel pink with salmon orange tones. Stems are very strong, about 50-60 cm tall, and hold numerous buds at the axil of almost every leaf. Lanceolate leaves are very green and grow from the ground and then up along the stems.
Coneflowers are maintenance-free perennials blooming from early or mid summer until early fall. They come out on sturdy stems that do not break in wind or heavy rain. Flowers attract butterflies and bumble bees.
