Leucanthemum 'WIRRAL SUPREME' Shasta daisy

Wirral Supreme is a gorgeous variety of Shasta daisy. It produces about 70 cm tall stems with large, pure white, double flowers with less conspicuous yellow centres that almost disappear when blooming is at its peak. Lance-shaped leaves are deep green, partly glossy, and toothed at margins. It makes a great cut flower.
Blooming time is from early June until end July. Prompt deadheading will encourage forming of new buds. The plant may be cut back after flowering and new leaves, and possibly a few flowers, too, will be produced for late summer and autumn.
It is widely soil adaptable provided the soil is well-drained. Still we recommend growing it in humus-rich soil where the number of flowers and overall plant appearance will be better. Fully hardy to about -30°C (USDA zone 5).
