Cinquefoil is a popular plant in gardens of various sizes and is often found in city parks and arboretums. They have several flower colours and thanks to zero maintenance they can be planted almost anywhere.Red Ace is a hot card for this game among cinquefoil varieties. It offers medium-sized flowers that change from red to fiery orange. They come out from June until September. Palmately divided leaves are small, medium green, not very showy. This variety grows quite compact and is suitable for small gardens, too, or along pathways, and in between taller shrubs or trees.
Cinquefoil grows best in well-drained, poor or moderately fertile soil in full sun. For compact habit long shoots should be removed in spring and the whole shrub clipped by about a third. It does not need extra fertilizing or watering once established. Fully hardy to abt. -40°C (USDA zone 3) and is suitable for outdoor pots down to zone 5.

- STANDARD (as described in the plant form) means a tree with a trunk of 190-210 cm and a crown at the top, unless specified differently. The commercial size for trees is their girth measured in the height of 1m from ground.
- HOBBY - These plants are of the same quality as our standard-quality plants but younger and therefore cheaper.
- SHRUB - a woody plant with branches growing bushy from the ground level.
- HALF-STANDARD or MINI-STANDARD - a small tree with shorter trunk, its size is usually specified.
- FEATHERED - These are trees with branches growing already from the base of the trunk and up along the stem.
- GRASSES and PERENNIALS - Sizes given usually read the diameter of the pot or the clump, as specified.
