Have you got a small, really small garden? We have something extraordinary for you. This plant was first introduced in Germany only in 1999. It is a unique dwarf maple, slow-growing but not a Japanese type. So if Japanese maples were ever too much trouble for you and you gave up, try this little baby.
Novush is a beautiful plant with a short stem and dense crown. Growing very slowly it will find its place in every garden, even a rockery. The leaves are deeply lobed, just like on its parent maple of Norway, but much smaller, only about 6-9 cm long, mid to dark green and very attractive.
It is soil tolerant and will even do in poor soils if planted in full sun. However, I believe that such dandy deserves good soil and a place of honour in your garden. Fully hardy to min. -34°C (USDA zone 4), and very probably more.
